My work is influenced by an interest in the natural world, and a love of farm life and the surrounding countryside. I strive hard to capture something quirky and unique in each piece I create, and I feel that my work reflects my personality. It’s important to me that each piece tells its own narrative. All my pieces are hand-built from stoneware clays, using pinch pot and coiling techniques. Each piece is fired at over 1240ºC using an electric kiln. My decorative colour work uses a combination of natural oxides and polymers to compliment the clay body surface.
I have exhibited and sold work at Marwell Zoological Park summer exhibitions, IBM Hursley House, Portsmouth Museum, Curdridge Show and other local galleries. Open Exhibitions in 2018 at Sherfield School, Southampton Art Gallery, St Barbe Musuem & Art Gallery, National Trust (Mottisfont). Currently exhibiting at;
